From the moment we were warmly greeted by our Egypt tia tour guide, Samy, at our Aswan hotel lobby, we knew we were in for a special day. The entire operation was seamless. The private, air-conditioned car was spotless and comfortable for the long drive, and Samy was an absolute treasure trove of knowledge.
He didn’t just give us facts; he told us the story of the temples, building anticipation the whole way. He prepared us perfectly for what we were about to see, explaining the monumental effort to relocate Abu Simbel and its significance. Because we were on a private tour with Egypt tia, we arrived just ahead of the big crowds, and Samy knew all the perfect spots for photos without anyone in the background.
Standing in the shadow of Ramses II is something we’ll never forget. Samy brought the interior hieroglyphics to life, explaining the battles and symbolism in a way that was utterly captivating. The entire trip was paced perfectly for us, with plenty of time for questions and contemplation.
The team at Egypt tia tour clearly cares about providing a top-tier experience. The communication

Let’s be clear from the start: this tour with Egypt tia tour to Abu Simbel is an absolute must-do. The entire operation was flawless. Our guide, Kareem, was phenomenal—incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and clearly passionate about sharing his country’s history. The private car was modern and the driver got us there safely and efficiently.
Nothing can prepare you for the sheer scale and grandeur of the temples. It’s one of the most magnificent things I have ever seen. Kareem pointed out details in the carvings we would have completely missed and told the story of the temple’s relocation like a thrilling novel.
Now, for the one thing no tour operator can control: the heat. We went in August, and wow, it was brutally hot. The sun at the temple site is absolutely relentless with very little shade. This is in no way the tour’s fault, but a word of advice: please, please listen to them when they tell you to bring a hat, sunscreen, and LOTS of water. We saw other tourists struggling, but thanks to Kareem’s reminders and our well-air-conditioned vehicle waiting for us, it was manageable.
So, five stars without a doubt for Egypt tia tour for a perfectly executed, insightful, and memorable day. Just check the weather forecast and come prepared to be blown away—both by the history and the desert sun!”
